President Director of Pindad and TNI Commander Reviewed Normalization Progress of Citarum River
President Director of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose together with the TNI Commander in Chief, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto and Army Chief of Staff (KASAD) General TNI Andika Perkasa observed the Citarum River condition in Baleendah, Bandung Regency, West Java, Saturday (09/21/2019 ). The event were also attended by the Navy Chief of Staff (KASAL), Admiral TNI Siwi Sukma Adji, Air Forces Chief of Staff (KASAU), Marshal TNI Yuyu Sutisna, and also West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil.
The arrival of the President Director of Pindad, the TNI Commander along with other officials are intended to conduct the Karya Bakti and Karya Kesehatan in commemoration of the Indonesian Military 74th anniversary which was held along the Citarum River flow in sector 7 of Citarum Harum in Baleendah. On this occasion, Abraham Mose along with the TNI Commander's directly observed the progress of the normalization of Citarum River and several exhibition stands from TNI-assisted community groups.
Abraham Mose said that PT Pindad was very concerned and contributed in supporting the Citarum Harum program. As information on the commemoration of PT Pindad's anniversary last April, a unit of garbage dredging machines was sent to be operated on the Citarum River. Not only that, Pindad has also handed over a mud towing machine to the West Java Provincial Government.
In addition, one of the things being reviewed is the water purification machine that has been built for the surrounding community. TNI Commander said that in the future, water purification machines will be built at several other points. Hadi said the work of devotional service and health service was carried out to help the community in the context of TNI anniversary. "The aim of this activity is to commemorate the TNI Anniversary, which will be celebrated and centered in Jakarta at Halim Perdana Kusumah Air Base," he explained.
Hadi said that this activity was part of the stages, the TNI from the people by the people for the people. According to him, the TNI is sensitive to the existing problems related to the health and environment. (Bani)
