Regent of Pasir Barat Visits PT Pindad, Interested in Heavy Equipment Products

PT Pindad's Chief of Finance, Risk Management & HR Officer, Kemal Sudiro welcomed a visit from the Pasir Barat Regent, Agus Istiqlal and his entourage on Tuesday, June 6^th 2023 at the Auditorium PT Pindad, Bandung. The visit was also attended by Deputy Chairman of the Pesisir Barat Regional People’s Representative (DPRD) Ripzon Efendi, Members of the West Coast DPRD namely Aris Ikhwanda, M. Towil, Khoiril Iswan and Ahmad Muhyan along with several heads of related services. The purpose of this visit is to discuss and visit production facilities related to PT Pindad's Excavator and Agricultural Equipment and Machinery (Alsintan).

In his remarks, Chief of Finance, Risk Management & HR Officer, Kemal Sudiro expressed his appreciation and gratitude for his willingness and time to visit PT Pindad in person.

"We need to say that PT Pindad produces various defense equipment in the form of weapons, ammunition and special vehicles in order to meet the needs of the Defense and Security of the TNI and the Almatsus of the Police. Not only defense and security products, we are also constantly innovating to produce industrial products such as heavy excavators and agricultural machinery. On this occasion, we invite ladies and gentlemen to take a close look at our products and production facilities," Kemal Sudiro explained.

The Pasir Barat Regent, Agus Istiqlal in his speech expressed his interest in heavy equipment products, especially PT Pindad's excavators and Alsintan.

"Our visit here is to explore Heavy Equipment products in order to meet the needs in our region, sir. We want to enjoy the main industrial results from PT Pindad and we hope that this collaboration can continue because we also need technology for development. This is also in line with the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia regarding accelerating development, especially in our region." Agus Istiqlal explained.
