Special Forces Commander General Review Pindad’s latest defense and security products

CEO of PT Pindad, Abraham Mose accompanied by Vice CEO Sigit P. Santosa, Chief of Production officer Budhiarto, Chief of Finance, Risk Management & HR officer Kemal Sudiro, and Chief of Commercial officer Atih Nurhayati along with echelon I officials welcomed a visit from Special Forces Commander General (Danjen Kopassus) Major General TNI Iwan Setiawan and his entourage on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Pindad’s Auditorium Bandung. Danjen Kopassus was accompanied by Danpusdiklatpassus Brigadier General Agus Sasmita along with Kopassus officials.

The purpose of Kopassus’ visit was to take a closer look at Defense and Security products that are proud of Indonesia which can support and fulfil the needs of defense equipment, especially Kopassus as well as see the production facilities owned by PT Pindad.

The activity began with a welcoming speech by CEO of PT Pindad, Abraham Mose. He expressed his appreciation and gratitude for his willingness and time to visit PT Pindad to the entourage of Kopassus delegation.

“We hope that this visit will continue to provide suggestions and input as well as corrections to the products produced by Pindad so that they become better according to user needs. PT Pindad also has 2 Core Businesses, first is Defense & Security products which produce Special Vehicles, Weapons, Munitions and other defense equipment as well as producing Industrial products such as heavy equipment, agricultural equipment and others,” Abraham Mose explained.

Danjen Kopassus, Maj. Gen. TNI Iwan Setiawan expressed his appreciation for the remarks given by PT Pindad. He also said that the visits like this could continue to be carried out in order to strengthen the cooperation between Kopassus and PT Pindad.

“I thank PT Pindad for always supporting and assisting Kopassus in their operations. I also hope that PT Pindad will be more successful in the future and become a leading company in the filed of defense equipment,” Maj. Gen. TNI Iwan Setiawan said.

The visit was followed by a discussion session between PT Pindad and Kopassus officers. The activity ended with a visit to PT Pindad’s production facilities.
