Dankodiklat TNI AL Visited Pindad

Commander of the Naval Education and Training Doctrine of the Navy (Dankodiklatal TNI AL), TNI Rear Admiral Dedy Yullianto along with 20 people visited PT Pindad (Persero) on August 26, 2019. The group was received by the Director, Heru Puryanto in Gd. Directorate of Pindad Bandung.

In his remarks, Heru Puryanto welcomed the Navy's Dankodiklat along with his entourage and hoped that in the future Pindad products would be increasingly used by the Navy.

Welcome to the Dankodiklat and its entourage, beforehand let us introduce the ranks of Pindad. Hopefully in the future Pindad-made products can be utilized even more by the Navy. In principle, Pindad is currently developing its production capacity, supported by the government, "Heru said.

Meanwhile TNI Rear Admiral Dedy Yullianto said the purpose of his visit to Pindad was to see developments and various alternative products that could be produced by Pindad.

"We want alternative weapons and munitions to be produced from Pindad. Bullets and dopper guns, hollow bullets are there cheaper alternative materials, artillery shells. We need students to learn practice, shoot and others. Hopefully it can be developed so that we take products made by Pindad and do not depend on the outside, "said Rear Admiral TNI Dedy Yullianto.

The group then carried out a plant tour to the Weapon Division to see the latest weapons products and to see demo dopper weapons, SM and mortar training. Dankodiklat along with the entourage also tried directly the performance of Pindad weapons. Pindad also featured the use of the Mortar Counting Machine (MHM), the latest innovation in collaboration with BPPT which serves as a module for the development of a firing control system, especially for mortars and rockets (Ryan).
