Danpussenarmed Visited Pindad, Reviewing the Komodo Nexter Progress
President Director of PT. Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose, received a visit from the Field Artillery Armament Center Commander (Danpussenarmed), Brigadier Purbo Prastowo in order to see the progress of Komodo Nexter on Thursday, July 18th 2019. Danpussenarmed came together with the officers and the users in Battalion to propose suggestions regarding Komodo.
Abraham Mose appreciated Danpussenarmed's visit and stated that Pindad was ready to fully support the acceleration progress of Komodo Nexter.
"Thank you to Danpussenarmed and the staffs for the visit. General Manager of Special Vehicle Division, Widjil Djatmiko explained about Komodo Nexter produced in Pindad, after that we will review directly to the production facilities, asking for their suggestions and direction, Pindad will fully support the acceleration, "Abraham said.
Brigadier General Purbo Prastowo said Komodo Nexter would later be deployed and operated by the Pusenarmed personnel.
"Nexter Komodo will later be operated in Pussenarmed fleet. We came with the team and users in the battalion to see the progress. We hope that the advantages are maintained and improved then the shortcomings can be corrected.
The group then reviewed the production facilities of the Special Vehicle Division to see the development of Komodo Nexter.
Pindad will make 51 units of Komodo Nexter in various types and it is planned to be completed by the end of 2019. The produced type consists of Command Vehicle Battalion (BnCV), Battery Command vehicle (BCV), Meteo Vehicle (MeV), Frontline Observer Vehicle (FoV), Relay Vehicle (ReV) and Logistic Vehicle (LoG).
