Danpussenarmed Review The Development of Komodo Chainwork and Logistic Vehicle

The Commander of the Medan Artillery Armament Center (Danpussenarmed), Maj. Gen. Dwi Jati Utomo, directly reviewed the development of the Komodo tactical vehicle and logistics vehicles at the Head Office of PT Pindad (Persero) Bandung, on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Danpussenarmed was accompanied by Deputy Pussenarmed Brigadier General TNI Rosdianto, Irpussenarmed Brigadier General of the TNI Umar Sanusi, Dirsen Pussenarmed Brigadier General Julius Jolly Suawa, Dirbinlitbang Pussenarmed Colonel Arm I. Hutma Sihombing, Kabagbinsiapsat Lt. Col. Arm Arief Darmawan, Head of Research and Development Center, Major Arm Ihalauw Garry Herlambang and his ranks. Chief of Defense and Security Product Business, Heru Puryanto, Chief of Business Strategy, Rizka Putranto along with VP GM staff welcomed the visit as well as accompanied the inspection to the production facility.

Heru Puryanto welcomed the visit as well as the direct observation of Danpussenarmed to see the development of PT Pindad (Persero) 's special vehicle products. In his remarks, Heru said that the collaboration between PT Pindad (Persero) and Pussenarmed has been going on for a long time and will continue to be maintained. "This visit is a follow-up to the previous meeting, especially to review developments that have been carried out by Pindad to meet the needs for special Pussenarmed vehicles," Heru said.

The number of vehicles that will later be used to support Pussenarmed are 51 units, with details of 47 units of 4-wheeled Komodo tactical vehicles with BNCV, BCV, MEV, FOV, REV and 4 Logistic vehicles.

In his remarks, Danpussenarmed wanted to know the progress of product work and the readiness of PT Pindad (Persero) in supporting Pussenarmed in the future. "Our visit this time is to see the progress of Komodo products so that when they are delivered they are optimal and can be operated on various missions. One of the closest is the operation in various Pussenarmed exercises." Danpussenarmed explained. This Alutsista will be something to be proud of when it becomes a mainstay of Pussenarmed, especially because the work is done by the nation's children. Ending his remarks, Danpussenarmed encouraged PT Pindad (Persero) to be able to meet various other Pussenarmed needs.

The activity was then continued by visiting and observing the production facilities of PT Pindad (Persero), especially in the Special Vehicle division.
