Danpussenkav Review The Readiness of Pindad in Supporting The Needs of Pussenkav

Chief Executive Officer of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose, welcomed a visit from the Commander of the Cavalry Armament Center (Danpussenkav) Kodiklatad, Brigjen TNI Wawan Ruswandi with technical team of Pussenkav on Thursday, 9 June 2020 in Pindad Auditorium Room Bandung. The visit was about to find out and get to know the readiness of Pindad’s product and its development to support the needs of the Army, especially Pussenkav.

In his remarks, Abraham Mose expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the visit of Danpussenkav along with his ranks and hoped for input for the improvement of Pindad products.

"It is an honor for us to visit Danpussenkav and his staff. Along with the collaboration and discussion that have been built so far to support each other, so they can provide input in the form of suggestions for improvement and improvement of Pindad products going forward, "Abraham explained.

This meeting discussed about the readiness of Pindad in meeting all the needs of defense equipment, especially Pussenkav in terms of human resources, machinery, products produced to future development plans through exposure delivered by the Director of Business Strategy, Rizka Putranto.

Danpussenkav, Brig. Gen. Wawan Ruswandi expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome of the Managing Director of Pindad and its staff. Wawan said that Pindad was a strategic cooperation partner, considering that the cooperation between them had been established for a long time, especially in the field of Combat Vehicles and spare parts.

"Our aim in this visit is to see the development of defense equipment that is being built, especially Ranpur Rhinos, Tigers and others. We bring in the ranks and technical team to provide input. We see Pindad as a strategic partnership partner, so far we have been and continue to work together to develop various types of ranpur. We are greatly helped by the presence of Pindad, hopefully we will continue to collaborate well, " said Wawan.

Danpussenkav, TNI Brigadier General Wawan Ruswandi also said that Pindad must be brought up in relation to the readiness of Indonesia's defense equipment going forward.

The group then conducted a production facility visit to the Weapon Division and Special Function Vehicle Division. Danpussenkav reviewed various domains and tried to drive directly the latest 4x4 tactical vehicles. He expressed his interest in weapons for the Ranpur crew and tried first hand the performance of the SS2 V5 A1 weapon with 5.56 mm munitions and 7.62 mm SM2. Pindad also featured an SM5 demo with 12.7 mm caliber munitions installed in various Ranpur Pindad.
