Deputy of State Minister for Cooperatives SMEs Encourage Pindad to Support MSMEs

Chief Business of Industrial Product Officer of PT Pindad (Persero), Heri Heriswan welcomed a visit from the Deputy for Financing of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small Medium Enterprises (Kemenkopukm), Hanung Harimba Rachman and his staff at the Pindad Auditorium, Bandung on Friday, November 20, 2020. Visit of the Deputy of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs in order to review the readiness of production facilities of non military products and encourage PT Pindad (Persero) to support and empower MSMEs.

Heri Heriswan expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the visit of the Deputy for Kemenkopukm and explained the company profile and displayed defense equipment and industrial products. In particular, the discussion on this visit was PT Pindad (Persero)'s industrial products, namely various variants of excavator products, machinery products, electrical products, gas cylinders, railway infrastructure to commercial explosives.

In his remarks, Heri Heriswan hoped that PT Pindad (Persero) could be trusted to become a partner and open cooperation with Kemenkopukm. "Hopefully this meeting can continue into strategic cooperation that can have a positive impact on both parties." Heri Heriswan explained.

Deputy for Kemenkopukm, Hanung Harimba Rachman, expressed his gratitude for the welcome from PT Pindad (Persero). In his remarks, Hanung explained the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to empower MSMEs and even emphasized that the spending of Ministries and Institutions is at least 40% of MSMEs. "We hope that BUMN can synergize with MSMEs and even help MSMEs to advance in class." Hanung explained.

After carrying out discussions and hospitality, the activity continued by visiting the production facilities of PT Pindad (Persero).
