PT Pindad displayed superior products at ABDB's anniversary

PT Pindad displayed a variety of its superior defense and security products at an exhibition held to commemorate the 62nd Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (ABDB) at Rimba Air Base Bandar Sri Begawan, Brunei from 28 to 1 June 2023. The exhibition was attended by the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, His Majesty His Excellency Sri Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah ibni Omar Ali Saifuddien who visited Pindad and DEFEND ID booths. The representatives from PT Pindad are PT Pindad's Business Development Manager, Akbar Abdi Kusumah, and PT Pindad's Export Account Manager, Iyan Nurjaman.

PT Pindad's Business Development Manager, Akbar Abdi Kusumah who attended the exhibition wished ABDB a happy birthday and hopes that in the future there will be cooperation in the defense sector with Indonesia, especially PT Pindad.

"Representing the Board of Directors of PT Pindad, I wish a happy 62nd birthday to the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (ABDB), I hope that ABDB will become stronger and more professional. PT Pindad as a defense industry member of DEFEND ID is ready to support it with its superior defense products, both Weapons, Munitions and Special Vehicles," said Akbar.

PT Pindad displayed various mock ups of its superior products including Ranpur Badak 6x6, Rantis Komodo 4x4, SS2-V4, SPR-2 and G2 Combat pistol. PT Pindad's defense and security products have been used by various TNI units in the country.

PT Pindad carried out CC (Courtesy Call) to ABDB Commander, together with PT Dirgantara Indonesia and PT PAL. On this occasion, representatives of the Indonesian Defense Industry said that currently the SOEs of Indonesian Defense Industry had become the Holding Defend ID. PT Pindad conveyed an explanation of the flagship product of the Komodo 4x4 tactical vehicle, as well as representing the Board of Directors providing a Mock Up of the Komodo 4x4 Tactical Vehicle.

Besides that PT Pindad's booth was visited by the Chief of TDDB who was interested in Badak 6x6 fighting vehicle product. The Badak 6x6 vehicle is a product development of Anoa 6x6 combat vehicle, which is equipped with a 90mm turret and add on armor to increase the level of ballistic protection to level 3.

PT Pindad's weapons and ammunition have proven their quality by winning various international shooting competitions such as AASAM, AARM and BISAM. Meanwhile, various Special Vehicles produced by PT Pindad, Ranpur Anoa 6x6 and Rantis Komodo 4x4 have proven to be reliable by operating not only in domestic terrain, but have also been used in various UN missions such as UNIFIL (Lebanon), UNAMID (Sudan), MINUSCA (Central Africa) , and MONUSCO (Congo).

PT Pindad was present at the exhibition commemorating ABDB's 62nd anniversary together with PT Dirgantara Indonesia and PT Pal Indonesia representing the Republic of Indonesia Defense Industry SOEs holding, DEFEND ID.
