DIRECTOR OF AFRICAN of KEMLU RI VISITS PINDAD, DISCUSS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Chief Commercial Officer of PT Pindad, Atih Nurhayati welcomes the visit of the Director of the African Ministry of Foreign Affair for the Republic of Indonesia, Dewi Justicia Mediawaty as well as the delegation of the Directorate General for Asia Pacific and Africa on Friday, March 17th 2023, located in Pindad Auditorium, Bandung. The reason for the visit is to push a deep interaction between PT Pindad and technical discussions regarding the business development in the form of cooperation or marketing & sale in the Sub-Sahara Africa region. The working visit of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is also related to preparations for holding the 2024 Indonesia – Africa Forum and plans for a working visit by high-ranking Indonesian officials to Africa.
In the welcoming, Atih Nurhayati greets warmly and feels honored for the visitation of the Directorate General of the Asia-Pacific and the African Ministry of Foreign Affair for the Republic of Indonesia. "Some time ago, I attended the IDEX defense equipment exhibition located in the United Arab Emirates and saw that there was a need in African countries which could certainly become PT Pindad's business potential. With the arrival of ladies and gentlemen here, we hope to receive input and be able to discuss it, especially for PT Pindad's business development in the African region." explained Atih Nurhayati.
The Director of Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dewi Justicia Meidiwaty, expresses appreciation for PT Pindad’s welcoming. “We would like to hear and discuss about the experience of working together in the African region, including product exports. If there is anything we can help and facilitate, we will be happy to support it.” Explains Dewi Justicia Meidiwaty
The activity then continued with a brief profile presentation and technical discussion regarding the support that can be provided by the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the obstacles faced by PT Pindad in the African region. The visit ended with a visit to PT Pindad's production facilities.
