Director of Pindad Had Morning Coffee Together with Media
Director of PT Pindad (Persero) Heri Heriswan talked with media colleagues in "Coffee Morning" event at PT Pindad's head office, Bandung, Friday (07/12/2019). The event was opened by a speech from the Secretary of the Company, Tuning Rudyati who appreciated the support of media colleagues towards Pindad.

Heri Heriswan explained the latest updates from the Industrial Business Directorate along with its newest products. The success of PT Pindad (Persero) as a State-Owned Enterprise that continues to be able to show positive performance is inseparable from the role of mass media in supporting the development of Pindad business.
Heri said Pindad would also strive to increase non-military production and target the maintenance services business which has not been performed seriously. "Recently, the composition of Pindad products is almost consisted of 70 percent of military products, and the rest is non-military. In the future, I want it to be balanced or to be fifty-fifty, "said Heri.
Heri is very optimistic, the increase in sales of non-military production and maintenance services can encourage the achievement of the company's turnover target this year which is noted at 5.2 trillion rupiahs. Non-military products that will be relied are heavy vehicles excavators which currently have four types, including excava 200 classes of 20 tons, excava breaker, excava amphibious, and the latest excava 50 with a capacity of five tons dredging.
Beside that, Heri said that Pindad was able to make electric generators that could support the government's target of producing 35 megawatts of electricity. In addition, Pindad is also working on cooperation with PT Pertamina to produce gas tubes.
The increase in non-military sales requires strength in marketing revisions, as non-military product competition is certainly tougher than military products.
