President Director of Semen Tonasa Visited PT Pindad (Persero)

President Director of PT Semen Tonasa, Unggul Attas was visited PT Pindad (Persero) on Monday, December 9^th 2013. He was accepted by PT Pindad (Persero) President Director Executor Duty Tri Hardjono at PT Pindad (Persero) Directorate Building

This visit was an early review for a good cooperation between PT Semen Tonasa and PT Pindad (Persero) at commercial products field. PT Pindad (Persero) was producing some various non military products which was spread at some commercial divisions such as Industrial Machinery and Service, Forging and Casting Division, and Commercial Explosive Division. This visit was also an early step before the cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between both parties would be made.

To support that matter, the President Director of Semen Tonasa was visited some production facilities of PT Pindad (Persero) commercial product to directly observe the supporting facilities of some production lines from each divisions. The production facilities which visited were Electric Engineering Department of Industrial Machinery and Service, 1^st Casting Department and Forging Department of Forging and Casting Division. At related production facilities, he was got an explanation about production  flow s and production capacity from each Head of Divisions.  

He was also visited 2^nd Production Department of Special Vehicle Division and tried the PT
Pindad (Persero) combat vehicle, Anoa Panser 6x6. Some weapons such as SS2-V1 rifle and G2 Combat and Elite handgun were also tried by him at shooting area of Weapon Division.

Hopefully, this day’s visit could give an enough description for Semen Tonasa so that the cooperation project with PT Pindad (Persero) would be implemented properly in the future. (Anggia)
