Pindad CEO Gives Lecture of Development of National Defense Industry at Sesko TNI

Chief Executive Officer of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose gave a lecture to Student Officers (Pasis) of the XLVII Dikreg Sesko TNI 2020 year of 2020 during a strategic object visit activity held on October 1, 2020 at Sesko TNI Bandung.

Abraham delivered material regarding the profile and role of Pindad in the developing national defense industry.

The condition because of the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the implementation of the visits to strategic objects which in normal conditions visit directly to each strategic objects’ location.

However, this time the leader of strategic object who were present to give exposure material to the Pasis Dikreg XLVII Sesko TNI 2020 year of 2020 at Sesko TNI. Apart from Pindad, there were 8 other strategic objects called SOE’s defense industry and BUMS.

The Head of Lecturer Coordinator (Kakordos) Sesko TNI, Brig. Gen. Nugroho Jati Wahyu who read the remarks from the Commander of the Sesko TNI, Air Marshal Dedy Permadi, said that this activity aims to make the Pasis Dikreg XLVII Sesko TNI search and collect the data needed as analysis material in order to provide ideas that are put in the form of writing about the ability of strategic objects in supporting the main tasks of the TNI. In addition, the data information obtained can be used as material for a study on the empowerment of the defense industry so that the result can be projected for the benefit of the development and developing of the strength and capability of the TNI.

This program was attended by participants consisting of officers from the Army, Air Force, Navy with the rank of colonel, Polri officers with the rank of the Head Commissioners and defense delegations from other countries including India, Pakistan and Singapore.

Pindad also displays weapons including pistols, rifles and various SPR variants.
