PT Pindad Director Handover 1000 PPE Donation from Working Partners to Pindad Medika Utama

President Director of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose handed over 1,000 units of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which were donations from the Pindad's business partners to Pindad Medika Utama (PMU) which was received symbolically by PMU's President Director, Lia Yuliani.The PPE is a donation from the Pindad Medium Tank program team and its international partners; FNSS from Turkey, John Cockrill Defense from Belgium and PT Albrasco whose submissions were represented by Abraham Mose.

PT Pindad (Persero) and its partners are providing PPE to PMU to support all the doctors and medical personnel in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. PPE is made of 75 gsm spoundbound polypropylene material that is disposable.

In his remarks, Abraham said that PT Pindad (Persero) together with the Medium Tank program team made a donation to PMU in help to fulfill PPE needs for doctors and medical personnel. Abraham also hopes that employees and families of PT Pindad Incorporated will be spared from the Covid-19 virus outbreak.

He then advised to remain enthusiastic, keep working, and stay in the corridor of achieving company targets, by always maintaining health.

PMU’s President Director, Lia Yuliani expressed his appreciations to PT Pindad (Persero) which has providing support and major contributions to PMU especially for Pindad General Hospital in Bandung and Turen, in combating the Covid-19 outbreak. Lia said that PPE is crucial at this time in the medical world, compared to any sophisticated tools because PPE is used by medical personnel to deal with all types of patients whose health conditions are still unknown.

PPE is a major attribute needed by doctors and medical personnel to provide maximum service to the community in combating the Covid-19 pandemic. The use of PPE is very important for doctors and medical personnel to prevent transmission of the corona virus when treating patients infected with Covid-19. The vanguard doctors must wear PPE, in order to minimize the risk of transmission.
