Belgian Ambassador for Indonesia Visited Pindad

The Director of Technology and Development of PT Pindad (Persero), Ade Bagdja, accompanied by General Manager of Weapons Division, Yayat Ruyat and General Manager of Special Vehicle Division, Widjil Djatmiko Budi, received a visit from the Belgian Ambassador for Indonesia, Stéphane de Loecker at PT Pindad Bandung Headquarters (13/6). During this visit, the Belgian Ambassador was accompanied by Christophé de Loecker as Wallonia Trade and Investment Counselor and West Java Provincial Government representatives.

The purpose of this visit was to strengthen the two country’s relations and learn to know more about Indonesia's main weapon system and equipment manufacturer, PT Pindad (Persero). Stéphane de Loecker stated that Indonesia and Belgium have had good relations since long ago. Together with diplomatic relations between the two countries, Stéphane de Loecker intends to strengthen cooperation, including to discuss various strategic cooperation plans.

Ade Bagdja expressed his pride be visited by the Belgium representatives. Stéphane de Loecker also expressed his appreciation for the warm reception from PT Pindad (Persero) and was interested in various products made by PT Pindad (Persero). Ade Bagdja also gave a presentation on various primary products of the latest innovations such as Medium Tank, Armored Vehicle Anoa, various weapons products and industrial products such as Excava 200 & Excava Amphibious

After welcoming and giving an explanation about the profile and various products of PT Pindad (Persero), the delegation of the Belgian Ambassador conducted a tour plant to directly see the production process of defense and industrial products and also trying various weapons made by Pindad.
