Leader Talks is a Talkshow event that presents national figures and competent leaders to discuss current issues, discussion forums and share experiences aimed to giving positive influence and motivating echelon 1 officials of PT Pindad (Persero).

In his statement, Bambang Soesatyo stated that PT Pindad (Persero) as the lead integrator of the national defense industry was time to be independent and could no longer depend on imports. "This shows that the Indonesian people are not fully sovereign of the national defense system. Therefore, the development of the upstream sector in the defense industry such as steel must also be considered by the government," explained Bambang Soesatyo.

Bambang also considered that the support from the government had a big influence on the national defense industry. He also highlighted the good policy of the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo to recommend the purchase of domestic defense equipment and mention PT Pindad (Persero) in the official statement of the President.

The government's rapid response, according to Bambang Soesatyo, was ordering 500 units of Maung Tactical Vehicles produced by PT Pindad (Persero) through the official statement of the Minister of Defense, Prabowo Subianto. The Deputy Chairperson of KADIN Indonesia also encouraged PT Pindad to be more aggressive in expanding sales of defense equipment to various countries. "Apart from relying on reliable marketing, it must also be supported by defense diplomacy run by the government." Bambang Soesatyo explained.

Abraham Mose appreciated Bambang Soesatyo's support to PT Pindad (Persero) and the National Defense Industry.

Abraham mentioned the state-owned companies that are incorporated in the Defense Industry namely PT Pindad (Persero), PT Dahana (Persero), PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero), PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero), PT Indonesia Nuclear Industries (Persero) and PT Len Industri (Persero) works together and synergizes to maximize performance and build National Defense.

In these activities, Abraham also hopes the government is committed to providing full support for the Domestic Defense Industry, especially in the upstream and downstream industries.
