PT Pindad (Persero) handed over Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR / TJSL) assistance in the form of Satellite TV by PKBL Junior Manager, Yunus Soemantri to Head of Sukapura Village, Melinasari at the Main Secretariat of Lembur Tohaga Lodaya RW 05 Babakan Sentral, Kelurahan Sukapura District Kiaracondong on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Educational facilities assistance provided were in the form of TV, decoder and accessories.

Satellite TV for education was given to 15 RWs in Sukapura Village, especially to support Distance Learning (PJJ) for elementary and junior high school students during the Covid-19 pandemic. Today's activity is an example of online learning activities at the RW 05 office only and has been implemented in other RW offices.

The assistance provided will support the program of the Bandung city government which previously launched the satellite-based Bandung TV channel 132 that is free of charge as an alternative to Distance Learning (PJJ) media for school students during the Covid-19 period. Bandung Television Channel 132 was present thanks to the collaboration of the Bandung City Government and the Bandung Economic Empowerment Center (BEEC)

In his remarks representing the Corporate Secretary, Yunus said that he hoped the assistance provided could be useful as an educational solution and advised to maintain the facilities provided.

"Pindad provides satellite TV assistance, especially for the students to keep their enthusiasm for learning. This is an alternative educational solution in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Make the best use of the assistance facilities provided by Pindad for learning, please keep the facilities, "said Yunus.

Meanwhile, the Head of Sukapura Urban Village, Melinasari, appreciated the assistance provided by Pindad to support learning, especially for students who have economic limitations.

"Thank you for the assistance of satellite TV equipment submitted by PT Pindad (Persero). This assistance can help students with economic limitations to be able to continue to carry out teaching and learning activities online, especially for students in the Sukapura village. Cable TV is also an encouragement in itself and a facility that provides relief for parents when the economy starts to be affected by this pandemic situation, so that online teaching and learning activities do not need to issue quotas, just come to the RW post, ”said Melinasari.

The technical teaching and learning activities will be carried out alternately and are strictly regulated by the RW and Sub-district administrators by paying attention to health protocols so as not to form a crowd.
