Supporting Covid-19 anticipation, Pindad handed over ventilator to the Governor of Gorontalo

Governor of Gorontalo, Drs. H. Rusli Habibie, M.A.P accompanied by the Head of Gorontalo Police, Inspector General of Police. Dr. Akhmad Wiyagus, SIK, M.Si, MM and Danrem 133 / Nani Wartabone, Brigadier General TNI Bagus Antonov received a ventilator grant which was symbolically handed over by the CEO of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose and accompanied by the VP of Innovation of PT Pindad (Persero), Windu Paramarta and the President Director of PT PEI, Hery Muchtady on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the Pindad Bandung Head Office.

In his remarks, Abraham Mose expressed his gratitude for the visit of the Governor of Gorontalo and his entourage to Pindad. Abraham conveyed the achievements that Pindad had achieved, especially in 2020 Pindad and its subsidiaries were able to create innovative products in the form of medical devices, namely ventilators.

"The handover of the ventilator today is one of Pindad's CSR programs. This ventilator is produced by PEI with the Pindad innovation team. Hopefully this help (ventilator) can help patients exposed to Covid-19."

Abraham Mose also said that Pindad had handed over 1000 more ventilators which were seconded to the Indonesian Army, Air Force and Navy.

Gorontalo Governor, Rusli Habibie expressed his gratitude for the ventilator assistance provided by Pindad for Gorontalo. This assistance will be provided through the Governor of Gorontalo, the Head of the Gorontalo Police, and the Regional Military Command 133 / Nani Wartabone.

"Pindad provides ventilator grants for Gorontalo, because medical devices are urgently needed in Gorontalo. The handling of Covid-19 there was carried out well, we made a circular so there was no crowd, in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19. "

The ventilator given to the Governor of Gorontalo is the VRM 2 variant ventilator which is a mobile ventilator that has a simple design and operation, uses local components and raw materials that are widely available in the market and meets the necessary medical criteria.

After handing over the ventilator, the activity continued with a visit to the production facility to see various Pindad products ranging from defense and security products to industrial products.
