The Malaysian Ambassador for Indonesia visits Pindad

Chief Executive Officer of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose welcomed a visit from the Malaysian Ambassador to Indonesia, Datuk Zainal Abidin on Monday, November 23, 2020 at the Pindad Auditorium, Bandung. During this visit, the Malaysian Ambassador was accompanied by the Director of Tourism; Roslan Othman, Director of the Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE); Har Man Ahmad and his entourage.

In his remarks, Datuk Zainal Abidin expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the warm welcome from PT Pindad (Persero). The purpose of this visit is to build existing relations and this visit will be reported to the Minister of Defense of Malaysia. In line with this visit, Datuk Zainal Abidin explained that Malaysia & Indonesia relations in the defense sector are very important. "The defense sector is one of the areas that Malaysia focuses on. The relationship between Indonesia and Malaysia has received special attention because it is mutually necessary, especially from the Kingdom of Malaysia." Datuk Zainal Abidin explained.

Abraham Mose expressed his pride to be visited by the Malaysian Ambassador to Indonesia. Through this visit, Abraham hopes to build a better relationship with Malaysia, especially in the corporate sphere. "Thank you for visiting PT Pindad (Persero), we can get to know each other and can provide benefits for Indonesia-Malaysia Bilateral Relations." Abraham Mose explained.

The activity was then continued by a presentation about PT Pindad (Persero) in general, including defense equipment and non-defense equipment products. Some of the products that catch the attention from the Malaysian Ambassador were agricultural system equipment products (Excavator, Tractor, Rotatanam, Harvester and Paddy Dryer) and 4x4 light tactical vehicle products, Maung. In fact, Datuk Zainal Abidin expressed an interest in trying to drive Maung, which is the concern of the Indonesian people.

After giving a speech and giving an explanation of the profile and various products of PT Pindad (Persero), the Malaysian Ambassador Group made a visit to the production facility and tried to use PT Pindad (Persero) 's products. (Raka)
