BPK Entry Briefing  for PT Pindad (Persero) Audit 

Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (Financial Examiners Board) or BPK would do a 50 days Audit at PT Pindad (Persero). The audit implementation was marked by the convention of Entry Briefing event on Monday, May 27^th 2013 at Auditorium Directorate Building. This event attended by PT Pindad Board of Directors, some of examiners from BPK, high level officials, and some PT Pindad staffs who involved in this audit process.

According to BPK representative, Makmun Fuad, this audit would involve both of Pindad office at Bandung and Turen. The audit process was a special purpose audit towards company production and sales data from fiscal year 2011-2012. The examination would be formed as a review and the examiners would give a conclusion towards the examination result to be followed up.  

PT Pindad President Director, Adik Avianto Soedarsono gave a message to all of PT Pindad staffs who involved in this audit to cooperative giving the requested data so that the examination would get a maximal result and could be used properly. He also added that this examination is a mandate from the government, therefore, PT Pindad be expected to build a good cooperation.

The new Director of Administration and Finance, Rita Widayati stated that PT Pindad already had an internal coordination corresponds this BPK examination. The Person In Charges already appointed, data and documents which related to this examination already prepared. According to her, this was PT Pindad effort to make this examination would run smoothly and gave the best result for PT Pindad.

This BPK examination at PT Pindad, hopefully could give a result which could be followed up and be a positive input for the company to improve its performance at the future. (Anggia)
