Through e-Commerce and Online Marketing Training, Pindad Encourages UMKM to Expand Business Networks

Bandung - PT Pindad (Persero) held e-Commerce training and online marketing to encourage Micro, Small and Medium Business (UMKM), especially Pindad PKBL fostered partners, to gain insight related to E-Commerce while expanding business networks.

Corporate Secretary of PT Pindad, Tuning Rudyati stated the event was aimed to support business expansion while strengthening friendship with fostered partners.

"This is an annual event, intended to enlarge the business of our partners and strengthen friendship for a better relationship," she said, at Graha Pindad on Wednesday (6/26/2019).

Tuning explained that PT Pindad's PKBL was established 20 years ago. Today, the amount of PKBL loan funds for UKM is quite large with interest rate only 3 percent per year.

The loan interest rate is used for annual training and education activities fund with various types of training, both in terms of business and financial as well as managerial.

The activity coupled with the Halal Bihalal event presented presenters from an e-commerce site owned by Telkom Group, Blanja.com, which is an online storefront while at the same time the presenter taught about marketing strategies for all UMKM products and services. (Bani)
