Governor of West Java Launch Stungta X Pindad, Smokeless Incinerator

PT Pindad (Persero) together with PT Top Tekno Indo (Hejotekno) launch a collaboration product that is smokeless incinerator called Stungta. The launch of Stungta was attended by the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, and Regent of Bandung Regency, Dadang M Naser along with the representatives from the Ministry of Public Work and Public Housing (PUPR) was held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the Pakuan Building, Bandung.

Chief Industrial Product Business, Heri Heriswan, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil and the Regent of Bandung Regency, Dadang M Naser for allowing to implementing Stungta which has been carried out in Jelekong Bandung Regency so that Stungta managed to get a certification of eco friendly product. Heri explained that Stungta is a gift from the government, SOEs, and local companies as an alternative to environmental problems.

"Stungta is a collaboration to show that local product are able to compete with imported products. Currently Stungta has been recognized by several central and local government agencies. Stungta tries to get into the national and sectoral Institute of Government Procurement Policy (LKPP)." Heri explained.

Heri hopes that in the future Stungta can be absorbed by the Indonesian market to compete with imported products. Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil expressed his appreciation to Pindad for the launch of Stungta.

"Pindad is an example of a company that is adaptive to develop the needs and supports in advancement of innovation." Ridwan Kamil explained.

With a small and mobile form, Stungta, according to Ridwan Kamil, can be a solution for cleaning and managing waste which is planned to be placed at several points along the Citarum River, which is one of the Governor's work agenda until 2023.

In his remarks Ridwan Kamil also conveyed Pindad's duties in terms of production to immediately put into Pindad's e-catalog. Ridwan Kamil's dream in the future that Stungta can be used throughout Indonesia, can be achieved.
