DEFEND ID CSR Plants 500 Tree Saplings in its First Anniversary

DEFEND ID Holding plants 500 Palm Sugar trees and delivers aids in the form of facilities for the Middle-to-Micro Enterprise Teaching Partners as well as red sugar industry facilities around Cibeusi Village. This assistance given by DEFEND ID’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) sector which is conducted with symbolism by PT Dahana’s Director of Development and Technologies, Suhendra Yusuf towards Subang’s Environmental Agency Chief, Hidayat on March 2^nd 2023, located in Cibeusi Village, Subang Regency.

This assistance is in accordance with DEFEND ID Holding’s First Anniversary, as well as performing CSR Priority Program from the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) regarding the conservation of the environment, alongside supporting the West Java’s Provincial Government program in the environmental field, and efforts to revitalize the three million tree planting program by the Subang Regency Government.

In his reception, PT Dahana’s Director of Development and Technologies Suhendra Yusuf states that environmental maintenance and societal development is mandatory from the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises towards DEFEND ID.

CSR Holding Defense Industry commits to its palm tree plantation program and assistance towards Middle-to-Micro Enterprises in Cibeusi Village, Ciater, Subang Regency. We hope that this program will be beneficial towards the environment and society’s economy.” Suhendra Yusuf stated.

Furthermore, Subang’s Environmental Agency Chief Subang Hidayat expresses his gratitude towards DEFEND ID for their attention and care towards the Subang Regency, be it in the preservation of the environment or the assistance for the Middle-to-Micro Enterprises in the Subang Regency. In addition, the planting of the Palm Sugar Trees is considered to be very strategic, as the red sugar makes its way towards the restaurant industry, the demand for red sugar is especially high, with parties expressing appreciation towards the CSR DEFEND ID Team which expertly spots an opportunity.

“In our record, DEFEND ID has revitalized the greenery in the North Subang Beach by planting mangrove, and afterwards in the middle of Subang with the planting of productive trees. Now, DEFEND ID is planting Sugar Palm Trees in the Subang Tourist Village, Cibeusi Village. Minister Erick always reminds BUMN to not become a corporation which advances alone, but rather advances and develops alongside the citizens of Indonesia, especially citizens around the industry.

The activity is ended with a symbolic tree planting by each of the guests and a visit towards the Red Sugar production plant around the location.
