"Pindad welcomed the arrival of the Brunei Chief of Staff and his entourage, we are ready to fully support the needs of Brunei. We hope that through this visit it can strengthen better relations between Indonesia and Brunei. There are a number of Pindad advances that we need to share, from weapons there are various new weapons. In combat vehicles have been born rhinos, medium tanks, and amphibious anoa. We also have a non-military industry, we manufacture excavators, generators, railway systems and so on, "said Widjajanto.
Meanwhile Khairul appreciated the warm welcome from the Indonesian military (TNI) and Pindad and hoped that good cooperation had been improved.
"This visit was a continuation of our previous visit in 2016. We were moved by the support of Indonesian Army Chief of Staf and Pindad. God willing, we will cooperate well from time to time and hopefully be extended, "Khairul said.
The group then visited the Special Vehicle Division production facility and saw various combat vehicles produced in Pindad and its latest innovations including various Anoa Panzer variants, Komodo, Badak and Medium Tank. The Brunei Chief of Staff even tried to drive Panzer Anoa Pindad directly and maneuver in the Special Vehicle Division field.
Then the group headed to the Weapon Division to review various weapons made by Pindad. The Brunei Chief of Staff tried various weapons ranging from pistols to rifles of various variants, including superior weapons that always brought the TNI the champion of various international shooting competitions.

Chief Business of Defense & Security Product Officer, Widjajanto received the visit of the Brunei Army Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh to PT Pindad (Persero) on Wednesday, 10 October 2018. The visit of the Brunei Chief of Staff and the entourage of the Brunei Darussalam Military Army in order to review the defense equipment production of Pindad, especially the Anoa Panzer and various weapons made by Pindad.
