Chairman of Commission C DPRD Surabaya City reviews Pindad heavy equipment products

Chairman of Commission C DPRD City of Surabaya; Baktiono, B.A., S.S. accompanied by the Secretary of Commission C DPRD Surabaya City; Drs. Agoeng Prasodjo, M.Sc., along with his staff made a working visit to PT Pindad (Persero) on Friday, March 5, 2021. Director of Defense and Security Products Business; Wijil Jadmiko, General Manager of the Heavy Equipment Division; Cucun Kalsun and the ranks of the Heavy Equipment Division of PT Pindad (Persero) received and welcomed the work visit of Commission C DPRD Surabaya City.

Wijil Jadmiko in his speech expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the visit of the Chairman of Commission C DPRD City of Surabaya and his staffs. Wijil Jadmiko explained, apart from engaging in the defense industry, Pindad also has industrial products for commercial sales and can meet domestic development needs.

Through the presentation and explanation of products by the Heavy Equipment Division staff, PT Pindad (Persero) introduced a line of heavy equipment products that are expected to support the development of the City of Surabaya, namely the Pindad Excava 200 excavator, the Pindad Excava 200 Amphibious excavator which has amphibious capabilities. In addition, PT Pindad also produces waste processing equipment, namely the Stungta smokeless incinerator, a product of Pindad's collaboration with a local company, PT Top Tekno Indo (Hejotekno).

Chairman of Commission C DPRD City of Surabaya; Baktiono, B.A., S.S. expressed his gratitude for the time and warm welcome that Pindad has given for the visit of Commission C DPRD City of Surabaya. Baktiono in his speech appreciated Pindad for its capabilities and capabilities as a defense industry and as an industry engaged in heavy equipment and commercial products.

"We will encourage development in the city of Surabaya to use domestic products, one of which is PT Pindad (Persero) 's products." Baktiono explained.

The visit was then continued by reviewing the Pindad production facilities. The first place to go was Pindad's excavator and heavy equipment production facility. Then, the group continued the visit to the special vehicle division and ended with shooting using Pindad SS2-V5 A1 firearms.
