Mass Circumcision by PT Pindad (Persero)

In order to enliven the 32th Anniversary of PT Pindad (Persero), the company held a series of celebrations. On Wednesday, 22nd April 2014, Mass Circumcision event was held at Mesjid Al-Fithrah PT Pindad (Persero). There were 80 boys from various nearby places around the company that participated in the event. It was also attended by board of directors and several heads of division of PT Pindad (Persero).

Wahyu Utomo, Chief Operating Officer of Industrial Product, said that the Mass Circumcision is annually held in PT Pindad (Persero) Anniversary as its social responsibility to the surrounding area. The Mass Circumcision is a regular activity that is held annually for Pindad Anniversary and hopefully this will continue as Pindad contribution in social responsibility for its surrounding area, said Wahyu.

He was hoping that this activity would bestow the company and the society around the area with blessing. This activity, hopefully, can be meaningful and blissful for our surrounding area. We pray that this kind of activity will still be held by PT Pindad with more participants, so there are many people around the company that feel the benefit, as he closed his speech.

Other than mass circumcision, PT Pindad was giving donation in the form of raw material for several mosques around the company area and helping with educational facilities to some foundations of education. This social contribution is a program resulted from the Partnership Program and Community Development form Corporate Services and Assets Division, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from Corporate Secretary Unit, Dewan Kemakmuran Mesjid (DKM), Ikatan Isteri Karyawan Pindad (IIKP) & Cakra Binangkit Foundation, General Hospital of PT Pindad (Persero), and PT Cakra Mandiri Pratama Indonesia.

The celebration was followed with tausiyah from KH Budi Saepudin, Secretary of Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI), and closed by the company officials handed over the donation.
