DPR RI Comission VII review product facilities and products of Pindad from Maung to Pertashop

Commission VII DPR RI conducted a recess work visit in the context of a research and development review of PT Pindad (Persero) led by Deputy Chairperson of Commission VII, Alex Noerdin and members from various political party factions on Saturday, April 10, 2021. CEO of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose and his ranks received the visiit at Directorate Building of Pindad Bandung. The event was also attended by Pertamina Regional Marketing Director, BPH Migas Committee and Main Secretary of BPPT.

The CEO of PT Pindad (Persero) warmly welcomed the delegation of Commission VII and explained what the company was doing.

"Pindad produces weapons, combat vehicles, munitions and also industrial products such as excavators for agricultural equipment, supporting equipment for ships and trains. We will convey the details in the company profile presentation, ”said Abraham Mose.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Chairperson of Commission VII DPR RI as well as the head of the entourage conveyed the purpose of this recess work visit to Pindad.

"The purpose of Commission VII's working visit is to carry out the supervisory function according to the mandate of the 1945 Constitution to see first hand the performance of Commission VII partners, especially Pindad. We would like to review the company profile, collaborative activities carried out in connection with the work sector of Commission VII and directly observe the production facilities at Pindad and to listen to the obstacles faced by Pindad so that it can get support from Commission VII. We hope that we will create increased synergy with our partners who are attending this time, namely BPH Migas, Pertamina, BPPT, Pindad, and the Bandung municipal government to establish good cooperation in carrying out constitutional duties, "said Alex Noerdin.

Commission VII DPR RI appreciates Pindad's commitment and contribution in supporting the duties of government institutions such as BPH Migas and BPPT as well as the synergies made with other SOEs such as Pertamina.

"We appreciate Pindad's commitment in supporting the provision of facilities and infrastructure for Pertashop in collaboration with Pertamina. Pindad also provides support to BPH Migas in providing firearms for munitions to monitor the distribution of BBM and natural gas, gas cylinders and other products. Pindad has also contributed greatly to support the government in carrying out R&D downstreaming, one of which is in collaboration with BPPT for the development of Mobile Laboratory Bio Safety Level 2 (BSL-2), "said Alex Noerdin.

After the presentation by the CEO, the entourage then reviewed production facilities and products that the company had produced, such as various variants of weapons, various combat vehicle and tactical vehicle from the Harimau Medium Tank, Anoa, Komodo to the latest Maung. Then various industrial products such as excavators, agricultural machine tools, Stungta, Pertashop. Commission VII ended the visit by reviewing Pindad's Security Operaation Center (SOC) facilities to deal with current cyber threats.
