Commissioner of Central Information Commission visits Pindad
The Commissioner of the Central Information Commission, Cecep Suryadi, made a working visit to PT Pindad (Persero) on Monday, December 13, 2021 at the Pindad Head Office in Bandung. This visit was welcomed by the Information & Documentation Management Officer (PPID) as well as the Corporate Communications Manager, Komarudin. The agenda for the working visit of the Commissioner of the Central Information Commission and his staffs is to exchange experiences, review communication strategies and monitor Public Information Openness (KIP) in Pindad.
Opening the activity, Komarudin was grateful for the first visit from the Central Information Commission to Pindad and hoped that future coordination and collaboration between the two parties would be closer to realizing an increasingly quality KIP service.
In his remarks, Cecep Suryadi expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the warm welcome given by Pindad. Cecep conveyed, as long as KIP monitoring and evaluation activities for BUMN public bodies, only a few fall into the informative category.
“All of the state-owned companies want to be healthy, transparent business entities and will be able to collaborate later. Public information disclosure in SOEs is not only the task of the Information Commission but also must be interpreted as joint work in all sectors, both in the Ministry and in the SOE public agency itself, "explained Cecep.
Pindad has increased in the past 2 years, currently Pindad is in the category of Fairly Informative public agency. In 2022, the implementation of monitoring and evaluation will be carried out with new guidelines referring to Perki No.1 of 2021. Cecep Suryadi hopes that in the coming year every public body, especially SOEs, will have the enthusiasm to be motivated in increasing its Information Disclosure title. Meanwhile, those who have won the informative category are to maintain their achievements.
After listening to a brief presentation about Pindad and KIP Pindad, KIP Commissioner Cecep Suryadi and his staff visited production facilities, tried to drive the Maung 4x4 Special Vehicle product and tried to shoot using Pindad weapons.
