New Zealand KSAD Visited Pindad, President Director Hopes to Strengthen Billateral Cooperation
President Director of PT. Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose, accompanied by VP of the Defense and Security Products Business, Edy Purwanto and GM of the Special Vehicle Division, Widjil Djatmiko Budi received a visit from the Chief of Staff (KSAD) of the New Zealand Army, Major General John Boswell in the Auditorium of PT. Pindad, Bandung (08/08/2019).
Abraham also welcomed other New Zealand delegation members namely the New Zealand Military Attache, Peter Griffin, Paban V Hublu Spamad, Colonel Immer HP Butarbutar, Athan RI in Wellington, Colonel Iwan Suryono, Pabandya 2 Bungprot Spaban V / Hublu Spamad, Lieutenant Colonel Aria Sanggita Saleh and representatives from the Indonesian Army Headquarters and the Indonesian Embassy for New Zealand.
In his remarks, Abraham welcomed and expressed his pride to the visit of the New Zealand Army Chief of Staff and delegation.
"We are glad to receive the visit of Mr. John Boswell and the delegation at our company. Hopefully this visit can strengthen bilateral cooperation between New Zealand and Indonesia, especially between the New Zealand Army and the Indonesian Army "Abraham said.
John Boswell was feeling grateful for the warm welcome from PT. Pindad. John also revealed that the visit was aimed to strengthen the relationship between the military of New Zealand and Indonesia and eager to find out more about the Indonesian defense industry, especially PT. Pindad.
"The world is increasingly integrated and becoming more omplex, so we need to build good relations with prospective countries and detect the potential of cooperation that can be built," said John in his remarks.
John further said after hearing about PT. Pindad, only then did he know that Indonesia has a good defense industry.
"Therefore it is important for us to know the capabilities of Indonesia and find opportunities for us to work together," said John.
Speaking of achievements, John also expressed his admiration to the products of PT. Pindad, especially weapons that have achievements with the Indonesian Army contingent in winning various international shooting championships.
"Indonesia has a great shooting team. Of course in this case, in addition to the personnel, the weapons used in the contest have qualified reliability. This attracts us to get to know more about PT. Pindad as the manufacturer of these weapons, "concluded John.
