Strengthen Defense Industry Holding, DEFEND ID Appoints 3 New Directors at PT Pindad

SOEs defense industry holding DEFEND ID, carried out the agenda for Submitting a Copy of the Shareholders’ Decree regarding the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of Board of Directors of PT Pindad which was held at Ministry of SOEs office Jakarta.

Submission of a copy of the Shareholders’ Decree was carried out in a hybrid manner and led by the President Director of PT Len Industri (Persero) who is also the Director of DEFEND ID Holding, Bobby Rasyidin.

Based on PT Pindad Shareholders’ Decision regarding the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of PT Pindad’s BoD, it was stated that the shareholders confirmed the dismissal with respect Wijil Jadmiko Budi as Chief Business of Defense and Security Product officer, Syaifuddin as Chief of Business Strategy, and Triyana as Chief of Finance & Risk Management who appointed based on the decision of Minister of SOEs. And appointed Budhiarto as Chief of Production, Kemal Sudiro as Chief of Finance, Risk Management & HR, and Atih Nurhayati as Chief of Commercial. Apart from that, the transfer of duties of Sigit P. Santosa, who was originally the Chief of Technology and Development, became Vice CEO and concurrently Chief of Technology and Development.

The decree was ratified by the Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir as the Dwiwarna A Series Shareholder of PT Pindad and Bobby Rasyidin as the President Director of PT Len Industri (Persero) as the B Series Shareholder of PT Pindad.

Bobby Rasyidin gave speech on this agenda, “PT Pindad is the biggest contributor to holding DEFEND ID. Hopefully, with the inauguration of the new Directors, we can realize the target of RKAP anf national mission by carrying out mass production for National Jeep.” He said.

He also added that the BoD of PT Pindad could become a solid, precise and careful team. So that it can encourage PT Pindad’s contribution to be even better than before. The Agenda for Changes to the BoD of PT Pindad ws attended by Assistant Deputy for Manufacturing Industry of the Ministry of SOEs Liliek Mayasari, Assistant Deputy for SOEs Human Resource Management, Assistant Deputy for Corporate Law, Representative Commissioner of PT Pindad, CEO of PT Pindad Abraham Mose along with the BoD of PT Pindad, Representative of Ministry of SOEs as the A Series Shareholder and BoD of PT Len Industri (Persero).

Hopefully with the election of Budhiarto, Kemal Sudiro, and Atih Nurhayati and the transfer of duties of Sigit P. Santosa can improve performance and advance DEFEND ID to become a SOEs Defense Industry holding that is more independent, innovative and achieve the targets set by shareholders.

So that as of now, the composition of PT Pindad’s BoD is led by CEO Abraham Mose, Vice CEO concurrently Chief of Technology and Development officer Sigit P. Santosa, Chief of Production officer Budhiarto, Chief of Finance, Risk Management & HR officer Kemal Sudiro, and Chief of Commercial officer Atih Nurhayati.
