Dankorparkhas TNI AU Visited Pindad
The Commander of the Special Forces Corps (Dankorpaskhas), Indonesian Military Marshal Eris Widodo Yuliastono visited PT Pindad (Persero) on Tuesday, August 27, 2019. The Director, Heru Puryanto received the TNI Young Marshal Eris Widodo Yuliastono and his entourage in Gd. Directorate of Pindad Bandung.
Heru explained the products made by Pindad, including the latest products and the latest updates about the company. He hoped that the arrival of Dankorparkhas along with the ranks could provide input on products made by Pindad and the needs of the Air Force in the future.
"Thank you for the visit of Dankorparkhas and staff to Pindad, hopefully we can get input from the Air Force about what products and specifications are needed by users.
Meanwhile Dankorparkhas, TNI Marshal Eris Widodo Yuliastono hopes that Pindad can provide various needs of the Indonesian Air Force and close cooperation can be established.
"Thank you for our acceptance and the team to discuss approximately what we will do going forward. Hopefully it can become an ongoing collaboration, "said Eris.
Dankorparkhas and the team conveyed their interest in the Assault Rifle, light SM, mortars, munitions and Special vehicles such as Anoa and Komodo. Some weapons and munitions are still made from outside, hopefully in the future it can be made by Pindad.
The group then carried out a plant tour to the Weapons Division to see the latest weapons products and to see demonstrations of the latest weapons, BC and mortar training. Pindad also introduced the Mortar Counting Machine (MHM), the latest innovation in collaboration with BPPT which functions as a module for developing the fire control system, especially for mortars and rockets (Ryan).
