Director General of Strahan of Kemhan RI visits PT Pindad (Persero)

Chief of Technology and Development officer of PT Pindad (Persero); Sigit P. Santosa warmly welcomes the visit from the Directorate General of Defense Strategy, Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, which was attended by the Director General of Defense Strategy; TNI Major General Rodon Padrason accompanied by the Director of Defense International Cooperation; Brigadier General Jonathan Binsar P.S and his staff on Monday, December 13, 2021, located in the Auditorium Room of the Pindad Bandung Office. The visit was also attended by the VP of Business Development; Yayat Ruyat, VP of Marketing & Sales; Edy Purwanto and his staff.

The purpose of this visit is to know more about PT Pindad (Persero) such as what products are marketed, the capacity of the defense industry and what can be produced at PT Pindad (Persero). The Director General of Defense Strategy of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense also hopes that PT Pindad (Persero) can communicate what is needed by the Directorate General of Defense Strategy of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia.

"We thank you for the visit of the Director General of Defense of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia. In the future PT Pindad (Persero) will also invest more in technology, we have an innovation division and a roadmap that is often consulted with colleagues at the Ministry of Defense. We will also invite strategic partners for mutual progress if necessary. We apologize if there were any shortcomings in our welcome." explained Sigit P. Santosa.

Through his remarks, the Director General of Defense Strategy of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense also expressed his appreciation to PT Pindad (Persero). "Thank you for the willingness of PT Pindad's friends who have accepted us and we really appreciate the welcome from all of you, we have wanted to visit PT Pindad for a long time and finally it can be realized. We also tried to examine which companies are the right ones for us to glorify in modernization which are also capable of becoming our targets. We must be able to master the capabilities and capacities so that we do not need to buy weapons from other countries, so we want to know more about PT Pindad.” explained Maj. Gen. Rodon Pedrason.

After listening to a brief description of Pindad's profile, this activity was then continued by visiting the production facilities of PT Pindad (Persero).
