The Visit of the Indian Ambassador Reviewing Potential Cooperation with Pindad

Director of Defense and Security Products Business of PT Pindad (Persero), Heru Puryanto accompanied by VP of Defense and Security Business, Edy Purwanto welcomed the working visit of the Indian Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E. Pradeep Kumar Rawat and his entourage on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at the Pindad Bandung Auditorium Room.

In his remarks Heru Puryanto expressed his gratitude for the time and visit of the Indian Ambassador to Pindad. Heru then explained that Indonesia through Pindad had collaborated with India, especially in the military field. Then Heru introduced generally about Pindad and various products produced by Pindad.

The Indian Ambassador, Pradeep Kumar Rawat in his speech expressed his appreciation and gratitude for welcoming Pindad. He said that Pindad was the first company he visited in Indonesia. Pradeep Kumar Rawat then said that his visit to Pindad was in order to see the potential for cooperation that could continue to be developed from the relationship between Indonesia and India. Understanding and supporting the business side of both military and civilian products and fostering trust for both parties.

One of the cooperative relationships that will continue to be developed between Indonesia and India includes training, technology transfer, and product sales.

After carrying out the discussion process, the Ambassador's entourage then conducted a plant tour visiting production facilities to the Weapons and Special Vehicles Division.
