Chief of Army Staff Visit to PT Pindad (Persero)

Kepala Staf Angkatan Darat (Chief of Army Staff) or KASAD General TNI Budiman was visited PT Pindad (Persero)s production facilities on Friday, July 18^th 2014. He was accepted by PT Pindad (Persero) President Director Sudirman Said at 1^st Production Department of Special Vehicle Division. Also attending the event were the Board of Directors and related Head of Divisions.

On his visit, KASAD was acted as Main Commissioner of PT Pindad (Persero) and did some field inspection about some running projects of Special Vehicle Divisions progress. Moreover, KASAD specifically gave some suggestions about science development that could give positive effects for Indonesia defence company development especially for PT Pindad (Persero).

Some points that highlighted during KASAD visit were the progress of Komodo ATLAS Firing Station project and Komodo Artillery Howitzer project, KASAD guidance about distribution plan of the combat and tactical vehicle to various Army units in Indonesia, and guidance to increase local content usage on PT Pindads combat vehicle.

Hopefully, the guidance from KASAD could give an extra shot of spirit and new knowledge for PT Pindad (Persero) in doing all the projects so that the company always on the right track to pursuit the company vision : to Become Asian leading manufacturer in defense and security equipment  in 2023 throug product innovation and strategic partnerships.
