PT PJB Visit to PT Pindad (Persero)

The group from PT PJB were visited PT Pindad (Persero) on Thursday, October 231^st 2013. The group which was led by PT PJB Production Director Mulyo Adji AG and accompanied by PT PLN (Persero) Operational Director of Jawa Bali Sumatera (JBS) IGA Adnyana was accepted by Director of Planning and Development Wahyu Utomo at Auditorium, Directorate Building. This event was also attended by some PT Pindad (Persero) staffs who related with this visit.

PT Pindad (Persero) is a State Owned Enterprise company that famous as the producer of weaponry system and combat vehicle products, but PT Pindad (Persero) also have some of production lines which producing some commercial products such as marine equipment, air brake system, commercial explosives for mining and construction needs, and the electric motor. Therefore, this visit was done in order to see many potential which owned by PT Pindad to form one cooperation bond between both parties on electricity generator field. Moreover, according to PT PLN (Persero) Operational Director of JBS, this visit was a step to optimize domestic potential to coordinate through many projects, one of them was with PT Pindad (Persero).

The event was started at the Auditorium with an explanation about some of non-military products from Director of Planning and Development. After that, the group was given a presentation about the history of the electric machinery, the electric machinery products which had produced by PT Pindad (Persero), some example of the usage of PT Pindad (Persero) electric motor on several transportation facilities, some ongoing projects, and the current development of electric motor. 

After the event at the Auditorium was ended, the group was continued their visit by did a plan tour to Electric Machinery Department, Industrial Machinery and Services. There, the member of the group seemed enthusiastic asking many things which related with the production process of the electric machine. They were also got an explanation about the raw material of the products, building components, and some electric motor products which already made for fulfillment of some projects.

That day visit was closed by a visit to Special Vehicle Division and Weapon Division. At those divisions, the group was tried the performance of PT Pindad (Persero) combat vehicle leading product, Anoa Panser 6x6. After that, they were also got an opportunity to shoot the SS2-V5 assault rifle at the shooting area of Weapon Division. (Anggia)
