VISIT PINDAD, ACSC NEPAL IS INTERESTED IN BUILDING DEFENSE COOPERATION

The Assistant Director for Exports, Hery Mochtady, received 39 visits from Nepal's Army Command and Staff College (ACSC) led by Colonel Drabya in the Main Auditorium of PT. Pindad (Persero) Bandung (9/1). The agenda of this visit is intended for a study visit to Indonesia, especially to study the field of defense and security in an industry perspective.

Hery Mochtady welcomed the arrival of the ACSC Nepalese military group and expressed Pindad's willingness to cooperate. The visit began with the presentation of material about the profile of PT Pindad (Persero) in the National Defense Industry. Hery Mochtady explained how the products of PT Pindad (Persero) had high quality and were used in the field of defense and security of the Indonesian State even in the world peace mission by the United Nations.

Colonel Drabya is grateful for the speech given by PT Pindad (Persero) as well as expressing admiration and interest in Pindad products. One of the interests of the ACSC Nepal group is the Special Function Vehicle product and how Pindad can develop, produce and demonstrate quality with use in various international missions. Colonel Drabya also hopes to build cooperation, especially in the field of security to the procurement of equipment and special function vehicles.

The activity was then continued by visiting PT Pindad (Persero) 's production facilities, which began with seeing and trying out various special function vehicle products. The ACSC Nepal group showed admiration for the independently produced Anoa products. The activities of the ACSC Nepal group then ended by visiting the weapons division and firing using SS2-V4 rifles.
