Commander Corps Brimob Polri visiting Pindad’s defense products
Commander Corps Brimob (Dankor Brimob), Inspector General. Pol. Drs. Anang Revandoko along with Brimob Polri officials visited PT Pindad (Persero) on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Chief Executive Officer of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose accompanied by Chief Technology and Development officer, Ade Bagdja, Chief Business of Defense and Security Products, Wijil Jadmiko also VPs and GMs welcomed a visit from Dankor Brimob and his entourage.
In his speech, Abraham Mose expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the visit. Abraham explain that apart from engaging in the defense industry, Pindad is also engaged in the security industry.
“Pindad is currently focusing on the defense industry. And it has become Pindad’s vision to develop the security industry, how in the future Pindad can contribute more to the security industry.” Abraham explain.
Dankor Brimob, Inspector General. Pol. Drs. Anang Revandoko expressed his gratitude for the time Pindad has given for his visit. In his speech, Anang Revandoko conveyed that Pindad is a company that is engaged in defense and security to continue the development of its capabilities.
“Ir. Soekarno once said, “Be a great nation with our own independence.” In fact, our nation is a great nation and capable of doing great things for the nation. In the future, considering the threats that we need to face in this country, it is necessary to develop the capability of security products. Brimob is ready to become agent of change in creating independent police security equipment.” said Anang.
Anang Revandoko hoped that in the future Pindad will become a producer of security products and be able to support the needs of the National Police.
The visit was then continued by reviewing the Pindad production facilities. Anang Revandoko is interested in the 4x4 Pindad Maung tactical vehicle in the Special Vehicles division, introducing the Gesits electric motorbike which is intended for one of the solutions for the mobilization of police personnel which is a product owned by Pindad's subsidiary, PT Pindad Enjiniring Indonesai (PT PEI) and conducts test firing. The weapons used in today's Brimob visit were SS2-V4.
