Visiting Pindad, Danpussenarhanud Reviewed the Latest Version of Komodo

The Director of Defense and Security Products Business, Heru Puryanto, received a visit from the Pussenarhanud (Air Defense Artillery Armament Center) group, led by Danpussenarhanud, Brig. Gen. Toto Nugroho S.IP, M.Sc in the Auditorium of PT. Pindad (Persero) Bandung (10/21). Toto was also accompanied by the ranks of Pussenarhanud officials to review the latest Komodo project progress.

In his remarks, Toto thanked Pindad officials for accommodating Pussenarhanud's needs so far, "I personally give my appreciation for the cooperation that has been developed between Pussenarhanud and Pindad. "Of course, the commitment between us, especially regarding the procurement of defense equipment can be established better," said Toto in his speech.

Next, Toto highlighted the latest version of Komodo progress projected for Pussenarhanud needs, "Our aim is to review the extent to which the latest version of the Komodo project has progressed. We want to see if this Komodo can become a platform for defense equipment that we have planned. We want to see directly and try out the performance and capabilities of the Komodo. Furthermore, we expect a good cooperation from Pindad for the after-sales business as well, '' closed Toto.

Responding to the statements, the Director of Defense and Security Products Business , Heru Puryanto stated that they are ready to accommodate those needs and provide an opportunity to develop a new version of the Komodo project to meet the needs of the Pussenarhanud defense equipment platform, "Thank you for the input from Pussenarhanud, we will try to accomodate those needs and hope our collaboration will continue to establish in the future, " Heru said.

The group then proceed to the Special Vehicle Division production facilities to see the latest version of the Komodo. Toto and groups had the opportunity to directly test the performance of Komodo by checking the equipments, driving and maneuvering through the test track before closing the visit.

Komodo have been used by Pussenarhanud as a platform for land-to-air defense weapons. (Tomo)
