Visiting Pindad, LPDP Grew Pride Sense and Nationalism Towards Domestic Defense Industry

Director of Finance and Administration, Wildan Arief and Director of Technology and Development, Ade Bagdja received the visit of 162 prospective Indonesian Education Scholarship recipients from the 149th batch of LPDP (Institute of Educational Fund Management of Indonesia) at Grha PT. Pindad (Persero) Bandung (10/31). The LPDP group's visit, led by the Director of the Facilitation of Research and Rehabilitation of LPDP, Zanaria was intended to provide the prospective LPDP scholarship recipients a main view and briefing on pride sense and nationalism towards domestic defense equipment products in order to enhance the participants' good leadership capacity.

The LPDP Research and Facilitation Director, Zanaria expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from Pindad and committed to equip participants in the 149th batch of LPDP program to remain dedicated and committed to the country, "Thank you for the hopes and messages from the Directors of PT. Pindad. Furthermore, it is an important task for us to carry this message forward into an achievement that we can be proud of, especially in our commitment to continue learning while upholding nationalism and pride in the country. The participants of the next visit received a presentation on the nationality insight and knowledge of Pindad products delivered by the Director of Technology and Development, Ade Bagdja. Ade presents high quality Pindad products and technology and achievements that have been achieved by Pindad to support the independence of defense equipment. On the same occasion, Ade also introduced 3 employees of Pindad pride who received LPDP scholarships, namely Denny Lesmana, Prima Kharisma, and M. Diaz Perdana. At the end of the presentation, Ade advised the importance of cultivating the pride and nationalism of the participants of the visit as a complementary capital of knowledge that he had.

The participants of the visit had the opportunity to visit production facilities to see a variety of quality defense and industrial products that had been introduced, including witnessing special function vehicle defiles, trying to shoot using Pindad-made weapons, and visiting ranpur displays and weapons.
