Continuing The Synergy, Pindad Is Ready to Produce LPG Tube for Pertamina

In 2015, PT. Pindad (Persero) was experienced in producing Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) tube in 3kg 5,5 kg, and subsidized 12 kg variants along with converter kit which was ordered by Pertamina with 1,2 million units in quantity.

Synergy with Pertamina hopely will be continued with target to receive 1 million order of 3kg variant gas tube early this year. Therefore, in order to carry out the synergy between two companies, a team was sent by Pertamina to visit Pindad’s production facility. The verification team was welcomed by Director of Industrial Product Business, Heri Heriswan in PT. Pindad (Persero) Head Office on Wednesday – Thursday (31/7 – 1/8/2019).

Heri Heriswan said that every state owned enterprise should carry out synergy in various aspects, with the synergy between Pertamina and Pindad as an example. He emphasized that Pindad’s production facility is ready to produce gas tube ordered by Pertamina, and looked forward for any suggestion from the team in order to have better production effeciency and effectivity.

“Just like what was planned by The Minister of State Owned Enterprise, every SOE has to carry out synergies, every tool and production facility in PT. Pindad (Persero) is now ready to reproduce LPG tubes.” Said Heri Heriswan.

Meanwhile, Stakeholder Management of Pertamina Retail Marketing Directorate Manager, Pierre J. Said that there is an urgency amongst the SOE to carry out synergies. This procurement process eventually, will not have to decrease current proces. “Regarding this verification, we hope that there will be good synergy and cooperation” said Pierre.

The meeting was followed by a visit to some production facilities. Pindad gas tube production facility can produce up to 300.000 units per month.
