Shooting Competition, Commemorating Pindad's 36th Anniversary

From April 23th to 26th, a shooting competition was held as one of the PT Pindad (Persero) 36th Anniversary events. Within these 3 days, PT Pindad employees along with the subsidiaries and the customers from the Defense and Industrial Business Division gathered at the PT Pindad (Persero) shooting field to compete with shooting capabilities using SS2-V4 assault rifles and G2 Elite pistols.
"This shooting competition is part of a series of activities of Pindad 36th Anniversary that have started from April 4th to today, until it will be closed on April 29th. The shooting competition then continued by Defense Business customer gathering, and Industrial Business customer gathering." said the Head of the 36th Pindad Anniversary Committee, Wijil Djatmiko Budi.
As for the shooting competition for customers, the Director of Defense Product Business Widjajanto said that this shooting competition was a good opportunity to get feedback from intermediate degree officers who took part in the G2 Elite pistol competition, as well as introducing several new Pindad products.
"This competition is a form of our friendship with intermediate degree officers from the Indonesian Army to be able to get feedback from them and maintain our communication. In addition, this activity is an expression of our gratitude, because this week Pindad as a state-owned enterprise will enter the age of 36 years. Finally, this activity cannot be separated from Pindad's plan to introduce new products, which one of them is MAG4 pistol and PM-3 sub machine gun," said Widjajanto.
The Director of Industrial Product Business Heru Puryanto said in front of industrial business customers that this shooting competition was a representation of Pindad's business activities. "We provide opportunities for industrial business clients to try one of Pindad's products, weapons. This product is a representation of how Pindad conducts the production process, how Pindad manages the production process, so that it can produce good, durable, and functioning products," said Heru.
The contestants looked enthusiastic during the competition, both employees and users. They look excited and some users provide feedback about weapons and their experience after using them directly. Some of them even expressed their amazement as it was their first time holding and operating a weapon.
