Traction motors are electric machines that are manufactured to meet the orders of PT INKA for KRL project.
Asynchronous squirrel cage traction motors DMKT 55/18.5 as a result of co-engineering with Holec-The Netherlands are manufactured by PT PINDAD (Persero) and delivered to PT INKAMadiun for EMU KRL Jabotabek. Class H insulation VPI with silicon resin is applicated for motor insulation system. By using this proved resin the result is a maintenance free high performance motor.
Traction motors type DMKT 55/23 are manufactured by PT PINDAD (Persero) and delivered to PT INKA for Railbus project
Asynchronous squirrel cage traction motors DMKT 55/29.5 are manufactured by PT PINDAD (Persero) and delivered to PT INKA - Madiun for Railbus Solo - Wonogiri route and Padang projects.
PT PINDAD (Persero) also manufactured traction motors type DMKT 53/17 GT for EMU BN-Holec re-powering project.
