Pasar Murah Ramadhan 2014

As a form of social contribution towards social environment, PT Pindad (Persero) was participated on Pasar Murah Ramadhan 2014 which held on July 24^th-26^th 2014 at General Ahmad Yani University (UNJANI) parking lot, Kiara Condong, Bandung. This event was opened by opening speech of Mayor of Kiara Condong region, Dody Ridwansyah and representative from PT Pindad (Persero) Program Kemitraan dan Bina Lingkungan (Partnership Program and Environment Building) or PKBL, Suparman, and continued by groceries giving by the Major to citizen representatives.

Pasar Murah Ramadhan 2014 is a program from Bandung City Government to give charity to Bandung City citizen on Ramadhan Month and also to welcome the Eid Ul-Fitr celebration. PT Pindad (Persero) participated by providing groceries such as 3 kilograms of rice, 1 kilogram of sugar, and 1 litre of cooking oil. These groceries will be sold with 40% cheaper than the usual price so that the community will be helped to fulfill their daily needs.  

The low-cost groceries selling were focused on citizens at some Kelurahan that lies inside Kecamatan Kiara Condong region. Those six Kelurahan are : Sukapura, Kebon Kangkung, Kebon Jayanti, Babakan Sari, Babakan Surabaya, and Cicaheum. About 4500 grocery packages will be sold to the community to fulfill their daily needs ahead of Eid Ul-Fitr.

This activity was companys concern towards communities that living around the company. Hopefully, this positive activity could be continued to consistently carry out by the company so that the company's contribution could be felt in the real society. (Anggia)
