Ramadhan Bazaar at PT Pindad (Persero)

As one of the state-owned enterprises, PT Pindad (Persero) conducts governments program helping society around the office. The event which is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility activities is themed Ramadhan 1436 H Bazaar and was held on July 8, 2015 at the Head Office of PT Pindad (Persero) Bandung. This bazaar is one of governments effort to help and ease people in carrying the holy month of Ramadhan and also welcoming the Eid. Moreover, this program also aims to reduce the price of primary products so that affordable for the small communities.

The Operational Director of Industrial Product, Wahyu Utomo, in his speech says that through this bazaar, the communities hopefully could be helped in welcoming the Eid Day which will be coming soon. This bazaar, for the upteenth time, is held by PT Pindad to help the communities, Wahyu says.

PT Pindad (Persero) sells primary product package, which are 5kg of rice, 2L of cooking oil, and 1kg of sugar with affordable price to inhabitants who live around PT Pindad (Persero),such as Kebon Kangkung, Kebon Jayanti, and Sukapura. We hope that this aid could help the society that live around the Company, in welcoming the Eid in a very short time. Hopefully this would be a blessing for all of us, Wahyu continues.

The event went very well and PT Pindad (Persero) successfully sold about 2000 packages of basic commodities to the communities. The bazaar of BUMN program is conducted in 190 places in Indonesia, from Banda Aceh to Manokwari. (Translated by Frangky)
