The Students of Indonesian Navy Visit PT Pindad (Persero)

On Tuesday, August 11, 2015, PT Pindad (Persero) welcomes the School of Staff and Commander of Indonesian Navy (Sesko AL) at Graha Pindad. Sesko AL is the highest general development and education institution in Indonesian Navys environment whose roles are to educate and develop the competencies of the student to become a planner, a thinker, and an executor. Yayat Ruyat, the Head of Quality Assurance wishes that this visit could bring a knowledge and perspective about Pindad, says Yayat Ruyat on his welcoming speech. As a national defense industry, we will never go bigger without any supports from our user, government, education and research institution, and other stakeholders. We hope that this cooperation with Sesko AL could go further and forward and we could use our own products in our own environment, he continues.

In the other side, the Vice Commander of Indonesian Navy says that this visit is one of the science and technology (IPTEK) job training academic activities of the students Batch 53 Year 2015. The purpose of this visit it to directly look at PT Pindad (Persero) as one of the strategic State-Owned Entreprises whose sector is national defense industry. The students are amounted to 178 persons, who consist of 163 Commissioned Officer of Indonesian Navy, 2 Commissioned Officer of Indonesian Army, 2 Commissioned Officer of Air Force, and 11 Commissioned Officers from several countries in United States and Asia.

In this occasssion, the entourage has the opportunity to take a look at the Company Profile and brief presentation of the Company. Moreover, they also get the chance to have a plant tour to Weapon Division and Special Vehicle Division as the closing. (translated by Frangky)
