PELALAWAN ARE INTERESTED IN EXCAVA AMPHIBIOUS AND ALSINTAN MADE IN PINDAD
Pelalawan Regent Muhammad Harris, government official, Chairperson of Pelalawan Regency DPRD along with members from various factions conducted a working visit to PT Pindad (Persero) on Thursday, January 8, 2019. President Director, Abraham Mose, Director of Industrial Products Business, Heri Heriswan and staff from The Directorate of Industrial Business welcomed the entourage in the Auditorium Gd. Directorate of Pindad Bandung.
A visit to follow up the collaboration and a previous visit about Pelalawan's interest in Pindad-made products. Abraham handed over the Excava Long Arm mock up, the newest excavator variant to the Pelalawan Regent.
In his greeting, Abraham Mose welcomed the arrival of the Pelalawan Regent along with his entourage and explained the non-military Pindad products to be useful for use in Pelalawan.
"Welcome, the Pelalawan Regent along with the complete staff. Pindad in addition to the defense industry also has a Directorate that makes industrial products. Products such as excavators of various variants and Agricultural Machine Tools (Alsintan) can be an opportunity to work together, "Abraham said.
In line with the President Director, Heri Heriswan hopes that this visit can also be a good opportunity for the Regent and all levels of staff to get to know Pindad's industrial products further and increase the cooperation that has been established.
"The arrival of the gentlemen is a motivation for us to introduce industrial products. Hopefully the collaboration between the two parties will be better so that the needs of Pelalawan can use products made by Pindad, "said Heri.
Meanwhile Muhammad Harris said the purpose of his visit was to follow up on the collaboration and reveal further actions towards Pelalawan's interest in Pindad products.
"Our arrival along with the complete ranks with the DPRD from various factions to follow up the collaboration and fulfill the administrative procedures. Our area is 65% swamp, requiring Excava Amphibious variants. We are also interested in various Alsintan made by Pindad.
VP of Industrial Business, Wiweko also added about the ability of Pindad Industrial Business along with the production of Alsintan products that have been produced such as Harvester, land processor, planting rota and paddy dryer.
The group visited the Special Vehicle production facility, saw the production process of various vehicles such as Anoa and Komodo and tried to drive it. After that the group saw the display of weapons and tried to use superior weapons made by Pindad.
