Inauguration of the Chairperson of Pindad Employee Union 2021-2023

Budhiarto, was inaugurated as general chairman of Pindad Employee Union (SEPAKAD) of PT Pindad (Persero) for period 2021-2023, replacing the previous general chairman, Suwadji. The inauguration of general chairman of SEPAKAD was held on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Pindad Bandung Office. This activity was carried out in accordance with health protocols and was also attended by Chief of Administration & Finance of PT Pindad (Persero), Wildan Arief, top officials and members of SEPAKAD Pindad.

In his remarks, Budhiarto expressed his gratitude for the trust that SEPAKAD members have given him. Budhiarto felt called when the administrator and members of SEPAKAD asked him to become general chairman. “Employee Unions are part of management solution, not part of the problem. I will continue what Mr. Suwadji has done. Conditions like this triggered us to continue to survive to build and make Pindad continue to exist and carry out its main fuctions. I ask the guidance and direction from the management in carrying out this position,” Budhiarto explained. This year’s change of general chairman is a milestone in the employee union at PT Pindad (Persero), which for the first time was occupied by echelon I officials. This does not violate the provisions in the rules of PT Pindad (Persero).

Chief of Administration & Finance officer of PT Pindad (Persero), Wildan Arief in his speech expressed his gratitude and congratulates Budhiarto who is choosen as general chairman of SEPAKAD and high appreciation to Suwadji who has led SEPAKAD very well for 9 years. Wildan Arief said, SEPAKAD currently has undergone many improvements, especially in its harmony with the company’s management.

“Something that starts well, will produce something good too. I, represent management, entrust SEPAKAD through Mr. Budhiarto to always maintain communication, always convey aspirations to management so that (we) do not miss information. The challenges and responsibilities faced as a SEPAKAD leader, should not disappoint its members. Working in accordance with the SEPAKAD tagline, “SEPAKAD towards a Better Pindad”, added Wildan Arief.
