Jambi Provincial Government Interested In Pindad Firefighting Vehicle

Jambi Provincial Government (Pemprov) is interested in the fire fighting vehicle of PT Pindad (Persero) after making a work trip to the Pindad Bandung headquarters on Friday, March 13, 2020. Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Jambi Jambi Province, Sudirman together with the Governor of Jambi Province who were unable to receive direct visits Pindad's fire-fighting vehicles, both with tires and with wheels.

Pindad's Industrial Product Business Director, Heri Heriswan, received and explained Pindad's ability to the Regional Secretary along with the group. He introduced various industrial products such as excavators, machineries, fastening rails and others.

In his speech, Heri Heriswan hoped that by carrying out a visit to the production facility and receiving better knowledge about Pindad's ability, cooperation could be established between the two parties.

"We hope there will be a collaboration using Pindad products. Our products were previously better known in the field of defense and security, but this capability is also applied in industrial businesses such as heavy equipment and others, "said Heri.

Sudirman conveyed the intention of the visit to Pindad to ask for products that could help approve forest and land fires in Jambi.

"Our presence with the group is to see firsthand the tools that can be used to overcome land and forest fires in the Jambi provincial government. It's easy to get a clearer picture, "said Sudirman.

The group then diverted various industrial products from Pindad and saw a demo of a fire vehicle that showed its ability to put out fires.
