Adding new health facilities, CEO of Pindad inaugurates 10 ICU rooms at RS Pindad
CEO of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose accompanied by the Board of Directors of PT Pindad (Persero), Directors of PT PEI, Directors of PT Pindad Medika Utama (PMU) inaugurated 10 ICU rooms at RS Pindad on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Inauguration of ICU room facilities was also attended by the Head of West Java Regional Settlement Infrastructure; Director General of Human Settlements of PUPERA, Jajang Oscar and Head of Health Services at Bandung City Health Service, Yoriza Sativa as well as representatives of PT WIKA and PT Indah Karya who helped in the construction of the facility.
Abraham Mose in his speech conveyed his pride for the achievements of RS Pindad. Abraham appealed to continue to improve services so that RS Pindad can continue to grow and be known.
“Maintain and continuously improve services, conduct various trainings for services to training in terms of medical so that RS Pindad services continue to advance, prioritizing comfort and satisfaction for patients. Keep growing, and keep doing good so that all of our dreams and hopes can be realized,” explained Abraham.
The President Director of PMU, Tuning Rudyati expressed his gratitude for the attention given by the Board of Directors of PT Pindad (Persero) and PEI Group to the developments made by PMU. Tuning said, these 10 rooms are the first step towards a more advanced RS Pindad.
“This is a small step from our ideals and big hopes to make RS Pindad bigger and can provide great benefits to the community. Hopefully with all the support, help and prayers today, it can be a spirit and make it easier for us to reach our goals, "said Tuning.
Previously, RS Pindad only had 3 ICU rooms, which were divided into 2 rooms for handling patients exposed to Covid-19 and 1 room for non-Covid patients. After being reviewed by the Director General of Health Services and West Java Provincial Health Office last July 15, it was determined that the building which was originally built as an isolation facility for Covid-19 patients, was converted into an ICU room.
