CELEBRATION 27th ANNIVERSARY of PT. PINDAD (PERSERO)

Celebration 27th anniversary of PT. Pindad (Persero) on April 29, 2010 has a special meaning for the company. Entering the age of 27 years for one of state-owned enterprises, have not spelled out too grown and matured in development and performance. Fluctuations in performance and effort decorate Pindad movement so as to reach the age to 27 years.

With the theme "in the spirit of togetherness, we increase competitiveness", Pindad on its age 27 years is trying to bring the best to customers and partners. The existence of industrial defense revitalization becomes the starting point of the rise of domestic defense industry to become an independent defense industry. And Pindad as one of the defense industry must capitalize on this opportunity to produce the best product. Superior product innovation, hard work, spirit of togetherness and support material is expected to face the future challenges.

To commemorate Pindad anniversary, a series of event held for all employees as well as for the public, it took place in our head office, Jl. Jend. Gatot Subroto no. 517 Bandung. It started with the flag ceremony followed by all employees on April 29, 2010 and continued the next day on April 30, 2010, which the peak of the ceremony.

The series of event on April 30, 2010, began in the morning until midnight, started with gymnastics in the morning followed by spiritual refreshment presented by the cleric Yusuf Mansyur and officially opened with a procession marked with cutting cone by the President Director of PT. Pindad (Persero) Adik A. Soedarsono. The event also filled with bands performing, Rampak kendang, bazaars and door prize draw for the employees.

As a form of company concerns on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), with the moment of 27th Pindad anniversary also held some social activities such as spraying of mosquito larvae, submit the hygiene equipments to the society around Pindad, substantial donation and providing assistance to the foundation for children with disabilities.

The events running down to the evening and it was opened by a speech from the President Director of PT. Pindad (Persero) Adik A. Soedarsono. He expressed his gratitude to all employees for their great contribution to the company and to the communities who participated in Pindad 27th anniversary commemorations. Guided by the Urban Master of Ceremony, the events continued with the firing fireworks as much as 27 times which symbolize the age of Pindad. The employees, the guests, elders Pindad, Pindad partners and audience, entertained by performance of Dangdut artists “Layla Puspa”, Pojok si Cepot and Ki Daus, Cabaret and Kinkin Kintamani. The shows roll until midnight and with the end of dangdut songs sung by Layla Puspa artists as well as concluded a series of celebration 27th Pindad anniversary. Hopefully with the spirit of togetherness, we increase the competitiveness really applied in producing the best products and services to Pindad customers and partners.
